Tenzin Seldon, C.E.O. & Co-founder
Tenzin was raised in the Indian Himalayas, her family having fled there from Tibet. She immigrated to the United States as an adolescent. Tenzin graduated with honors from Stanford University, followed by University of Oxford, where she was a Rhodes Scholar. Tenzin has spent her career advocating for disenfranchised communities, leading Climate Justice League chapters around the US, working on negotiations with Israel and Palestine, and, most recently, at the United Nations Regional Office of Asia and the Pacific. At the UN, Tenzin witnessed many young migrants experiencing hardships assimilating to a new country. She was a visiting lecturer at Rangsit University, where she taught International Policy. Tenzin’s work has been recognized around the world: as a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, a Harry S. Truman Scholar, and one of OZY Magazine’s “5 Civil-Rights Leaders for a New Generation.”
Adrienne Huesca, C.O.O. & Co-founder
Adrienne has been active in the startup and venture capital ecosystem since 2011. Prior to founding Kinstep, she operated her consulting company where she advised early & growth staged startups. Her work allowed for entrepreneurs to focus on launching their product, while she ensured the company's business operations were built and optimized. She specializes in legal operations, compliance, and effective internal communication. She is an Investment Partner for a family office based in San Francisco, and has been an Advisor for a seed stage venture capital fund since 2015. Earlier work includes managing the intellectual property and legal operations for a global consumer technology company. She also served as Director of Operations for a consumer health startup, which was ultimately acquired.
Adrienne has a passion for serving her community; something her family instilled early in life, and was nurtured later by six years in the hospitality industry. She is an active volunteer in San Francisco, and frequently mentors entrepreneurs globally. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
